The news came down yesterday that, according to KenPom, the Privateers own the most difficult non-conference schedule in the country.  With trips to Butler, LSU, and Memphis in the offing amongst others, Coach Mark Slessinger has a lot on his plate -- but not so much that he couldn't take the time to send a boatload of GIFs in story form to Mid-Major Madness' Twitter account.

In this relaunch of the Privateer Island podcast, we start gearing up for the upcoming basketball season with a discussion of the list (to date) of the top 50 Privateer men's basketball players of all-time, leading up to the tipoff of the 2019-20 basketball season.

We also touch on new Green Wave coach Ron Hunter's bizarre declaration that Tulane (TULANE!) is anyone's "big brother," let alone ours, in a blatant ploy to fire up the rivalry again.  Okay, maybe it kinda worked.
